Micro Spoons can be fished in almost every way that a jig head is, cast them, jig them or troll them. These Spoons are very light weight and that is what makes them so deadly when jigged. Their slow gliding fall makes them look more like bait fish . you can tip them with a minnow, crappie nibbles, or pinch the tail off of a curly tail grub.
When trolling I tie them to the hook of a 1/16 oz jig head on a 10 inch leader, most of my strikes come on the spoon. If slow trolling I will tie on a swivel to add a little weight and reduce line twist.
When casting you can add a split shot to give better casting distance,
When fishing in deep water you can add a split shot to get the spoons down faster.
